Mark Luke Grant

I’m a London-based multidisciplinary designer working across brand, digital, and image-led design projects, with a strong focus on visual communication and a passion for contemporary photography.

Alongside freelance and commercial work, I run 'Still In Street', a London-based photography and publishing platform focused on exhibitions, printed matter, and community-led curation.

Through this project and my own photography practice, I’ve developed a strong interest in image sequencing, editorial pacing and developing ways to structure and present photography across editorial and digital formats.

What appealed to me about this role is the balance between visual design and image selection, as well as the emphasis on thoughtful, photography-led communication. Much of my work sits in this space, building clear visual systems where imagery and graphic elements work together.

Here you’ll see a selection of projects including Still In Street, campaign and event work for Magic Leap, and examples of image-led design, digital assets, and motion studies.

‘Still In Street’ is a London-based platform showcasing street and documentary photography through exhibitions, print publications and community-led events

The project focuses on bringing photography into physical contexts, creating space for shared engagement with images outside of digital environments.

Role & Practice

The project combines curating photography with visual identity, print design and exhibition materials, alongside assets for the website and social media. It focuses on how images are selected, sequenced and translated into clear visual systems across physical and digital contexts.

My role covered visual identity, image sequencing, print and web design, exhibition materials and social media assets, including video and subtle animation.

Working accoss socials

As well as showcasing the work in exhibitions and zines, it was important to showcase the images across social media, helping to create context and storytelling.

Exhibition curation

The exhibitions focus on curating and sequencing street photography from multiple contributors, exploring how images can be paired and experienced collectively rather than individually. A sixth exhibition is currently in development for later this year.

Taking the leap into spatial computing

Magic Leap is a US-based spatial computing company.
I worked as a freelance designer at R/GA supporting the pre-launch of Magic Leap One and the company’s first major global conference (L.E.A.P).

I was responsible for producing a range of campaign and event assets across physical and digital formats, including static and motion design, for use across marketing, presentations and live event environments. I worked on-site in Miami during production and continued remotely from London, delivering fast-turnaround design work across multiple channels and tight deadlines.
